Hi Everyone,
Been pretty quiet and busy week all at once. Since the last post we have only had 2 appointments, granted one was a 3 hour EEG but dad is ok with that one, he gets warm blankets and a nap. Dr. called later in the week. Olly is still having seizures, still non-clinical but there none the less. We are adjusting her meds a little more, hoping that we can clear them without having to add other meds.
The second appointment of the week was actually right after the first appointment and was PT/OT with the school district. So Olly and dad rushed home right after the EEG. Nothing major came from that meeting but everyone is back on the same page and they are checking it to some equipment to help make life easier.
Here is where the busy part really comes in. Lora worked out of the house both Thursday and Friday. So Olly got to go off to Mimi Cheri’s house for the day on Thursday and off to Kelli’s house on Friday. It was a good thing for everyone. It was good for mom and dad to let Olly be with someone else for the day. It was good for Mimi and Kelli to know that the pump isn’t scary. It was good for Olly to get to spend the day in a different environment than normal.
For those of you that are following you may find this hard to believe but our next appointment isn’t scheduled again until Jan. 16 over a month without doctor appointments. For those praying for a miracle this is one. It will be our longest stretch since between Olly’s 10 month and 12 month appointments.
