Two Weeks

Hey Everyone, 

It has been two weeks since our stay at the hotel with robots so we thought maybe an update was warranted. The past two weeks has been period of adjustments, transitioning into our new normal. Olly has a been a champ with her g-tube. Honestly it seems as though it bugs everyone else more than her. 

We moved her bedroom back up stairs so she is close to us, just to make everything a little simpler. Overall things have gone very well with Olly since coming how. Everything is simple to use and her body is taking to the feedings well.

Lora has transitioned to working almost exclusively from home which comes with some challenges and is going to take some getting used to. Nate jumped right back into the flow of work right after we got home. Football wraps up for him this week and life should calm down there too.

Mara might have been the biggest rockstar through the whole month of October. From getting the news of the diagnosis to literally being bounced from house to house for 9 days mostly without complaining. She had limited time with mom and dad but had tons of time with Mimi, Bapa, Nana, Papa, the aunties and uncles. During this crazy month Mara was named Student of the Month at her school. To say we are proud of how she handled the

past month is an understatement.

We have been off on adventures over the past week and today seems like our first normally scheduled day in two weeks. Family pictures this morning, house work with an assist from some family and then off to hang out with some friends this evening.

Next week is dr. week. 18 month well check and shots, surgery post and follow-up with the eye dr. so far.
